João is a Feng Shui consultant and teacher with over 30 years of experience. After extensive study of both contemporary and classical Feng Shui under the guidance of renowned masters, he now specialises in Xuan Kong Flying Stars, Xuan Kong Da Gua (64 Hexagrams), and Date Selection. Holding a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, João enjoys collaborating on building design from its earliest stages to maximise auspicious qi and create lasting prosperity, health, and wellbeing for businesses, families, and individuals. He is a student of Master Francis Leyau and one of the few Western practitioners with expertise in Yin Zhai (Feng Shui for graves). His other areas of interest include the I Ching and Ba Zi. Since 1997, João has directed the Portuguese School of Feng Shui, one of Europe's oldest and largest Feng Shui schools, and currently serves as President of the Portuguese Feng Shui Association. He consults for a select international clientele across Europe and Asia and regularly teaches and lectures worldwide. João is the author of The Great Book of the I Ching and the Chinese 10,000 Years Calendar, and co-author, with Lily Chung, of BaZi Reading by Fingertips.
