Learn the science behind the connection with our environments and the most important aspect, our connection to the natural world. Biophilic design, an emerging discipline, is an extension of biophilia, meaning our love of life. It helps architects, designers, and laypeople create spaces that not only feel good but enhances well-being.

in this workshop you will learn:

• What is biophilic design and where did it come from?
• The basic tenants behind biophilic design
• Its relationship with feng shui
• How biophilic principles work with the Five Elements
• Examples of biophilic spaces

Maureen shares her philosophy and her Luminous Spaces Biophilic Design Principles, published in her book Creating Luminous Spaces, which is based on the Five Elements of Eastern philosophy.
