10:15am – 10:55am Shortcuts to feng shui mastery – Jan Cisek
Feng shui means many things to many people but the aims of feng shui are universal i.e. to reduce environmental stressors and enhance positive factors (yin-yang principle) so our homes and workplaces support and work for us. This can be done in many ways, simple and complex, depending on the feng shui school and approach. Whether you prefer a classical feng shui perspective or a modern approach, you most likely want to be as efficient and effective (and artful) as possible in your feng shui applications – professionally or just as a feng shui enthusiast. This is where the mastery of feng shui comes in. Ultimately, it’s all about the results. And you can always become better at what you do – think better. This presentation will show you how. Drawing on NLP modelling techniques, positive psychology, ergonomics, cybernetics, philosophy (epistemology, theory of knowledge), TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving), Jan will present shortcuts to boosting your feng shui mastery – and using yin-yang principle to everything else as well. This knowledge and wisdom can be scaled and transferred to any other domain or discipline – you’ll learn how to do anything better, quicker, and easier, as well as with more fun. Whether you’ve been working as a feng shui practitioner for years or you’re just starting as a feng shui enthusiast you’ll be able to go beyond your current level of feng shui understanding, application, and practice to a new higher level of feng shui mastery mindset. Not to be missed.
Jan Cisek, FSSA, is a feng shui consultant and trainer with 40+ years of experience in feng shui, vastu shastra, and interior design. He’s also an environmental psychologist and is currently working on his PhD in feng shui, which is about the integration of science and wisdom from Western and Eastern perspectives in feng shui and transpersonal psychology, consciousness, and human potential. 11:05am – 12:05am Break-out rooms to discuss what gold standard core feng shui competencies, theories, and concepts need to be included as part of the professional feng shui training and courses.
The think tank session is to clarify and design professional feng shui checklists for feng shui courses and training so the Public can learn the best gold standard feng shui curriculum. if you are a feng shui trainer or have a feng shui school and would like to give us your ideas, do join us. Also, members of the Public are invited to input their needs and ideas in terms of what and how they would love to learn feng shui from professionals listed with the FSS. We’ll work in breakout rooms with preliminary checklists and then report back from groups.
12:05am – 12:45pm Electrosmog mitigation in our current world – Tanya Fox
This presentation is about recent, fast-evolving electrosmog sources, from solar panels to 5G satellites, plus examples of EMF solutions and useful explanations (of this quite complex subject) for feng shui clients who are becoming more and more concerned about the impact of these energetic factors and environmental stressors. There will be a Q&A part to answer any queries related to electro-smog issues.
Tanya Fox, FSSA practices modern feng shui with an intuitive and practical approach, incorporating scientific research into healthy living and working conditions, alongside providing specialist EMF surveys. Her approach is empowering – providing a deep insight into the close interaction between you and your environment, and teaching a range of effective techniques to improve issues such as health, relationships, prosperity, confidence, and achievement of ambitions. 12:45am – 13:15pm Refreshment break
1:15pm – 1:45pm Why should feng shui consultants care about geography? – Chung-Yen Cheng
Feng shui is deeply rooted in and contextualised by location, culture, and geography. Space, location, culture, and geography change over time as well – and so does feng shui. What is the relationship between feng shui and the discipline of geography? What and how feng shui consultants can learn from geography, and what can geographers learn from feng shui practitioners and what are the implications? Understanding and appreciating a bigger place of feng shui in local geography as well as global one is essential to having a bigger impact on personal and social levels. All are welcome and will benefit from this illuminating geography of thought presentation. The presentation will include slides and Q&A.
Chung-Yen Cheng is pursuing a Master of Arts in Human Geography and is passionate about feng shui, its cultural heritage as well as how a practice-based approach to feng shui research can provide greater insights into humans’ relationship with their surrounding environments. Cheng is based in Toronto. More info on Cheng: https://www.facebook.com/chengchyen and https://www.linkedin.com/in/chchyen/
