During this course we will explain what feng shui is, where it comes from, how it has evolved and you how you can apply it to your own home in a very practical way in order to effect positive changes in your living space.

We will endeavour to demystify this ancient practice and explain how you can use it, in everyday words.

We will show you how simple measures can make your home the special, harmonious, and supportive place it should be.

We will discuss symbolism and the impact it can have on your environment and on your psyche.

We will introduce you to a fascinating – but easy to use – astrological system: the 9 Star Ki.

Day One

Course Aims:

Learning the basic concepts of feng shui in a way that enables participants to understand what feng shui is and how we believe it affects our environment.

Learning outcomes: by the end of the day, participants will be able to 

• Understand what is meant by Chi, Ying/Yang, Five Elements, Lo Shu Square, Form and 5 Celestial Animals, Life Area meanings.
• Understand the Five Elements 
• Appreciate the place of symbolism in feng shui, and review the symbolism of their own environment
• Appreciate the importance of the bedroom environment
• Use feng shui principles to help with buying and selling a house 

Day Two

Course Aims:

To introduce further basic feng shui concepts and to show participants how one can use feng shui to start making beneficial changes in one’s everyday life and environment.

The 2-day course also covers most of the key concepts required for the next level of study (i.e. Practitioner Training). 

Learning outcomes: by the end of the day, participants will be able to

• Be familiar with the origins of feng shui and its history
• Understand the concept of Form and the 5 Celestial Animals in Landscape, and its application in the internal environment.
• Understand the concept of the Bagua.
• Be able to understand basic feng shui astrology
• Understand what is meant by geopathic stress and EMF (Electro-Magnetic Fields) pollution. 
• Be aware of the importance of clearing their living space of unhelpful elements. 
• Understand what is meant by feng shui ‘cures’
• Use feng shui to consider positive changes in their living space and visit a site where feng shui has been applied
