About your speaker: Master Richard Ashworth
- Richard Ashworth, one of the most respected Western Feng Shui Masters, is probably best known for his book The Feng Shui Diaries – an account of a year of his life, including a term’s study at Huazhong University in central China – as well as for introducing Classical Feng Shui to a mass audience on Channel Five’s HouseBusters.
- He has studied with “every Chinese Master who’d give me the time of day” and performed perhaps a thousand feng shui surveys and drafted and interpreted several times that number of Ba Zis from Vancouver to Indonesia, Belgium to Australia. He has worked with luminaries such as Kelly Hoppen, Gillian Anderson, Naomie Harris and many others, “who didn’t demand an NDA,” as well as one or two who did.
- Unusually for an Englishman, he has also addressed the Grand Masters at the International Feng Shui Conference in Singapore. Ba Zi is, he says, a unique combination of natural laws not generally respected this side of the world, and pure divination; a hybrid of study and simple qing: the wish to make a positive difference. It is, he says, “the most powerful instrument of self-help” he has ever encountered.
- His new book, I Talk to the Animals, boasts that it is “A Definitive Guide to the Four Pillars of Destiny”, that is, the Ba Zi. Richard is married with six children and an ever-growing number of grandchildren, and still spends most of his time teaching, consulting and practising Ba Zi and Feng Shui, both live and via Zoom.See more here:
