Jon Sandifer - Feng Shui Reflections

Over the years as a teacher, author and consultant, I have developed my own mantra with feng shui. I will elaborate on this theme of using: one third common sense, one third intuition and one third feng shui. It has enabled me to see the obvious, understand the subtle and to deliver a few key recommendations that the client understands and can use. Feng shui is fascinating. People are fascinating and of course buildings are also. The world of chi is what binds it beautifully and I look forward to sharing some of my experiences and adventures with you.

Jayne Goodrick - The Way of The Water Dragon

The right type of Water in the right place is fundamental to successful feng shui.  Its form, its flow and the lie of the land tell us about the potential for the surrounding buildings and their occupants.  It is a fascinating subject.  Jayne will be showing you real-life examples, including Cartwright Gardens itself. Jayne Goodrick is a well known classical feng shui consultant and an instructor for Joey Yap's Mastery Academy of Chinese Metaphysics.

Sylvia Bennett - Bring Feng Shui into Design

An architect described feng shui as being ‘ancient Chinese building by-laws that are still valid for our buildings of today’. Modern scientific research is confirming that is the case through surprising revelations, some of which Sylvia will present to you.  Innovative feng shui design solutions are creating better spaces where people feel good. At last, feng shui is beginning to be taken seriously by major property developers and other key organisations, pick up a few tips that you can use yourself. Sylvia is an accomplished traditional feng shui practitioner, an affiliate of the Royal Institute of British Architects and an environmental design consultant.

Carla Miles-Robinson – The Hidden Power of Pictures

Artists, photographers and advertisers alike use colours, shapes and symbols to entice our unconscious minds. We read about which symbols and colours we should use for good feng shui, but it is amazing how much we do not see. Carla is fascinated by the artwork people choose to place on their walls. As you meander through a pictorial gallery, Carla will invite you to discover the hidden metaphors and analyse the silent messages, which speak so powerfully to our subconscious minds. Carla’s awareness of feng shui together with her background in art motivates her to help others open their eyes to the richness of this silent world. Carla is an artist andphotographer with 20 years experience as an art and sesign lecturer. She is also an active consultant member of the Feng Shui Society and consultant member of the British Society of Dowsers. Carla is passionate about how the power of imagery can subtly influence our lives. She works with both personal and business clients to design and select artwork that both supports and enhances their life journey and ambitions.

Mike Chester - The Success Factor

Mike has always liked tinkering around with things, and so has for some time been looking for a way to take some objective measurement of some aspects of feng shui. By using a compass, a person's date of birth and a computer, the success factor was born - in effect, a measure of how successful a person might be in a given house. In this presentation, Mike shares the story of how things developed, how the results showed up, and how he expects the success factor to eventually become a tool available for everyone to use.

Foon Chik – Timely Feng Shui

When should you do certain things? When should you not do certain things? Time, Chinese style, is measured in a cycle of twelve animal signs. How does your animal sign influence what you to do and when this year? Foon's training and practice is in Classical Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei XIng, Xuan Kong Da Gua), Chinese Astrology (Four Pillars, aka Ba Zi, Zi Wei Do Shu), Date Selection, I-Ching (aka Yi-Ching) and Face Reading.

Roy Riggs - Your House Your Health

A geobiologist is a researcher, architect, engineer and house doctor all in one; a worker in the global effort to solve the problems that come from modern ways of living and building that disregard our relationship with the natural world. The goal of geobiology is to regain order and harmony in our surroundings: to restore the balance between nature, our buildings and ourselves and to help to build bridges for the realization of a world that is ecologically oriented. This goal calls for dynamic, idealistic and creative people who appreciate deeper meanings and hold higher aspirations in life. The presentation will centre on utilizing three of nature’s most profound energies: Remnant universal energy of the Big-Bang (White noise), Relationship to Earth’s natural geomagnetic field, Relationship to earth’s electric field and Schumann resonance, Benefits of earthing the body to ground. Discusses what extent modern living and homes have deviated from nature’s natural blueprint relationship and what measures we have to take to restore this balance back into our homes.  Issues discussed:  Wi-Fi, Cordless phones, Mobile phone masts, household electric fields, magnetic fields and body voltage. Roy has a degree in environmental science is a consultant for the International Institute of Building Biology and Ecology and a master dowser.
